ID Wallet for White Cruise

I recently went on a white cruise around the Baltimore inner habor and I didn't have a purse to match my outfit so I made this id wallet holder for the 2 cards I needed to carry:

Happy Fourth of July!

I have spent most of today looking at the various blogs and enjoying them all. I have been tatting but not much posting. Here are 2 of the bookmarks I have tatted recently. I gave most of them away for sale.

Our little city is still reeling from the 3 blizzards of last week. Some streets still have not been plowed and are barely passable. I can't wait for spring! In the time I was off, I made these :

Sharing Some Poetry

TODAY

Chased by an echo of my past

Closure eludes me

You yelled you love me out of your car

Were you saying that for me or

Were you saying that for you

My heart wanted to call before you were out of sight

To say I love you too, but do I love you really

Or was it a knee-jerk reaction merely

It has been now over a year since I loved so true

But you were not

Since this moment I felt I had almost forgot

What it feels like to be friendless

To be tortured with nightmares endless

Endless questions of why and how

Your email was just a scratch ‘til now

So my refuge are my words until time shall break

The spell of what we are

Is it love or hate

I don’t know

WINDY DAY

Today it is windy outside but sunny. The sound of it makes me just want to stay in and cuddle up with a hot cup of tea and some tatting. I am working on a gift for my friend who will be moving soon into her first house. This is a picture of the motif I will be doing in green for her. I hope to finish by the end of the month. I am not sure if it will be a table runner or a centerpiece.

I am home today and wondering what I can tat. I recently purchased some new shuttles to replace most of the ones I lost recently, thread and 2 books. I have tatted one motif from the book and have been wondering what next. I purchased a wedding book to look at the lace and to place my motif on the pictures to see how pretty the dress could bee with tatting. I want to do something big like a tablecloth or something but not sure of what pattern to use. I'll keep you posted.

Teiko Fujito Motif - Green

Today I finished my first tatted onions. This stitch has mystified me for years but no more. It took me a few days to finish it only because I kept stopping and starting. I am not sure what I will do with it as it seems too pretty to make into a bookmark. I also learned how to upload a photo, how about that! Enjoy! It's 11:55 p.m. here now so I am not sure why the post has a different time.

Second Post

I am happy to say I have figured out how to sign in and I have posted 2 comments to 2 blogs that I like to visit from time to time. I am bubbling over with excitement! I love learning new things. The picture on my blog is of my great niece, Mykah. I just love her happy smile and I hope you will too.
